Gumbo Night Blues Band (feat. Kris Berry)
On Sunday evening we’ll have the whole Gumbo Night Blues Band featuring Kris Berry. Gumbo Night Blues Band brings the steamiest slice of New Orleans to Amsterdam, straight from their legendary club night at De Nieuwe Anita. Think greasy blues joint, New Orleans R&B, Soul and parade vibes until you’re convinced you can taste the gumbo in the air. For this edition they’ll be featuring Kris Berry, adding even more soul and blues to the night. If you like your Sunday night party loud, sweaty, and just a little bit wild, this is your ticket to the dance floor. They’ll play for you on Sunday, June 21.
This is the website of Gumbo Night & here you’ll find Kris Berry.
BluesShack
Born in a cozy corner bar this band has grown into a tight unit with three well‑received albums and gigs that have already crossed Dutch borders. Their live show drops you straight into smoky old blues and jazz clubs, while keeping a foot firmly in the now, channelling the spirit of Etta James, Willie Dixon and T‑Bone Walker along the way.
Let yourself be enchanted by the jazzy‑soul sound of lead singer Loes Jongerling and sink into the tasty layers of blues harp, piano and Hammond, guitar, bass and drums. From shuffles that lift you up to slow, soulful tunes that pull you right back down into the groove, BluesShack know exactly how to tease a dance floor. You can hear them play for you on Friday, June 19.

Martijn Schok Boogie & Blues Band
On Saturday we hand the keys of the party to the Martijn Schok Boogie & Blues Band, one of the most hard‑swinging crews in the international jazz, boogie and blues scene. Led by powerhouse pianist Martijn Schok with vocalist Greta Holtrop and a killer rhythm and horn section, they serve up greasy blues, early rhythm ’n’ blues and soul‑jazz in the spirit of Ramsey Lewis. It’s rootsy, it’s rich, and it’s built for dancers: whether you’re gliding or going full stomp, this band will keep the floor buzzing all night. You can enjoy this band on Saturday, June 20.
More about the band, you can find on their website.

The JAM Collective
For Monday we keep it close to home with the JAM Collective, a crew of local Amsterdam musicians you already know from tearing up the dance floor with you. They’ll turn our first after party into a lush, improvised blues playground, reading the room, riding the groove and stretching every chorus until you don’t know where the song ends and the jam begins. The JAM Collective will play on the afterparty on Monday, June 22.
