Amsterdam is an amazing city and June is about the best time of year to visit this wonder capital of The Netherlands. Unfortunately we are not the only one with this brilliant idea. It get crowded in town and finding a decent and affordable place to sleep can be challenging. We like to help out where we can. If you have some money to spend and want to sleep on a boat during the festival keep reading!

No better (and cheaper) way to stay at another dancers house, a couch or a spare bed. We will be very active in trying to match hosts and guest. At the sign up you can let us know if you are looking for a host or if you have a spare bed or couch. We will bring you all together and encourage people to become a host.
We are also busy looking for cheaper accomodation options or discounts. We’ll add them to this page as we go forward.
Want to host or get hosted?
If you want to host someone or get hosted drop us a line at thebluesjoint@gmail.com and we’ll try to link you to another dancer.

Tips for accommodation
- Camping Zeeburg has very cute cottages you can rent for 2 or 4 people, they offer bike rental (to get the full Dutch experience). And the nice thing is, is that it’s a bit outside of Amsterdam.
- There is a hostel relatively close to de Kompaszaal, Stayokay Oost. Here you can find budget options for staying the night.
- Sleep on a boat during Trippin’ Blues Amsterdam 2026, we have a temporary combi-offer. For a party pass, 3 nights of sleeping on a boat, and a boat tour during the weekend. You can read more about our combi deal on this page.
